What they have done with the better blue ribbons, classy cover with gold inlay around the inner edge, and binding changes, has made this to be in my opinion, the best bible you can own. The format that TBS has in common with the Schuyler will be wonderful for those who prefer a softer cover. Was able to see the not very well glued down ends of the flange. Its very readable even with the 4 columns on each page, and the cover is just amazing. In many cases actually cheaper than bibles that were sold in the 80s. Used what I thought was a suitable glue and firmly pressed down the flanges against the textblock and let it setup. Even my old, but unused, Holman Master Study Bible (mid 1980s) in hand grained Morocco, made in the USA will rival or exceed the Netherlands entries workmanship. The coloring is actually a bluish silver in daylight, a somewhat translucent effect. For the price it would be hard to beat and I wouldnt mind marking in it. I ended up with the black because hey its a King James Bible, but after looking at your pictures I must admit the Mahogany is a real beaut. I have found the study helps, the references, the imbedded archaic dictionary, and alternative translations of Hebrew and Greek words very helpful. And, from what I understand a minimum print run of books/bibles is somewhere between 500 1000 copies. This is another feature that I think places this one above the Longprimer. I love your idea of a large print text with dictionary in the back. I could be wrong but I dont think it would be significantly longer.
